Kleine Ceres No. 7 is a small (Kleine) sculptural work inspired by CERES, the Roman goddess of fertility, exploring themes of the cycles and memories of life. Smoothly carved from camphor wood into a form reminiscent of an egg, a cocoon, or a cell, its central torus structure signifies the cycles of life and infinite potential. It also serves as a symbol of the premonition of life about to be born, and the profound sign of something quietly beginning to stir.
